Kat’s friend: “When you fart, do people behind you see it?”
Kat: “What do you mean?”
Friend: “I mean, does smoke or bubbles or something come out?”
Kat: “No I don’t think so. What do you think mummy?”
Me (flabbergasted! I’m not a fart conversation person and this is not a conversation I feel comfortable with but joys of parenthood…I never liked a smelly nappy either!) :
“No! No! Nobody ever SEES a fart. They can only HEAR or SMELL it!”
I can’t believe I’m actually mouthing all this. It seems more like a conversation Papa would actually enjoy having with the kids! Anyhow the girls break into giggles and this teaser is enough to start little Kit into her favourite ‘Fart song’ which Kat taught her a few days ago:
Kit/Kat farted (replacing names to bug each other)
The earthquake started
All the animals died…!
The girls get all silly and boy! am I glad to get home...
