Kat did it and so does Kit. It must be an age thing then? Every time Kit gets hurt or even as much as sees a tiny (miniscule) red spot anywhere on her body, it’s a boo boo and needs the ultimate medical attention – Band-Aid! The survey of the body is most commonly done (yes, you guessed it) in the bath. Of course mummy can kiss it better and I do but Kit believes the boo boo is so bad it needs double treatment always. Some days when I forget the Band-Aid (or try to save one by ignoring), she makes the deliberate “You don’t love me anymore?” comment at night time sending me back to the medicine cupboard eventually to get one!Kat on the other hand has matured from Band-Aids to massage. For her all boo boos can be cured by leg or spine massage (she loves that!) That works great for me because Papa is the Massage Therapist in our house who will sit by Kit or Kat’s side tirelessly massaging them for as long as they need it (he gets this gene from Grandad!)
Looking forward to Kit graduating to the massage squad soon. For now, I have just removed 2 bright yellow SpongeBob SquarePants plasters from my big toes (recovering from the ski frostbites) which Kit had lovingly attended to...
