Start exercising as
soon as you can after delivery
The sooner you start
your postnatal exercises, the quicker you will return
to your pre-egnancy shape
If you exercise
religiously, you may come back to your original shape
in three months time
Pelvic floor
exercises are the most important exercises as your
pelvic floor needs to be strengthened considerably
It may take a while
before you can resume your normal exercises (like
aerobics etc). If you have stitches or have had a
caesarean, you may be told to wait for 12 weeks after
delivery before resuming a vigorous exercise
