Nine Months : Time off work for antenatal care

If you are an employee you have the right to reasonable time off work for antenatal care and you have the right to be paid for this time off. The term 'Antenatal Care' can include time off for parentcraft or relaxation classes as long as they are taken on the advice of your midwife or doctor.

Note: Your employer can ask you for written proof of your appointments like an appointment card and your failure to produce one could result in your time off not being granted by the employer.
